Academic Advising
Students can schedule one-on-one advising sessions through the NTU Academic Advising Office (臺大學習規劃辦公室), where advisors provide guidance on academic planning, course selection, and career development.Book an Appointment
Peer Tutoring
The Center for Teaching and Learning Development (CTLD) offers free peer tutoring in subjects such as:
- Calculus
- Statistics
- General Physics
Chinese Language Learning
NTU offers several Chinese language courses designed specifically for international students.
General Chinese 一般華語
Students should take a placement test, usually scheduled at the end of August, and are assigned to classes automatically by the system around the second week of the semester, based on their proficiency levels.
Enhancing Chinese 實用華語
This course provides additional intensive language training, offering four extra hours of Chinese practice per week, while taking General Chinese.
Applied Chinese 應用華語
This course focuses on practical communication skills and can be taken during the sophomore year.
